Las Piñas destroys video karera machines

Las Piñas Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar(center) together with Vice Mayor April Aguilar-Nery(R) and Police Chief PCol Segundo C. Lagundi led the destruction of 82 video karera  and fruit game machines on Monday at the Las City Hall Grounds.  Members of the Las Piñas police force confiscated the gambling machines during their operations conducted from January 2 to February 4, 2020 against all forms of illegal gambling and criminality in the various barangays of the city.

This is in accordance with the directive of Mayor Aguilar to intensify the campaign against video karera and fruit game machines especially in areas near educational institutions. Also present during the destruction of the seized gambling machines were  Councilors Oca Peña, Danny Hernandez, Ruben Ramos, Rex Riguera, Lord Aguilar, Peewee Aguilar, Gerry Sangga, Buboy Dela Cruz, Steve Miranda and Boni Riguera and SK President Rachelle Dela Peña.
