Manila holds wellness, health and fitness fair
The Manila City government, through the City Personnel Office (CPO), conducted a Trade Fair on Wellness, Health, and Fitness on Thursday, March 9, at the UDM Palma Hall. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage physical fitness among the employees of Manila City Hall.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by CPO Director Brenda Marcelino and was attended by several government officials, including Manila Department of Social Welfare Director Ma. Asuncion "Re" Fugoso, City Treasurer Jazmine Talegon, City Civil Registrar Maria Josefa Encarnacion Ocampo, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau OIC Zenaida Viaje, and Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital Director Merle Sacdalan.
More than 10 stalls were set up, offering free or discounted products and services to the employees of Manila City Hall. The employees enjoyed a variety of products and services, including health supplements, exercise equipment, gym memberships, and health and wellness programs.
The event was well-received by the employees of Manila City Hall, who appreciated the efforts of the city government in promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting their well-being. The Trade Fair on Wellness, Health, and Fitness is just one of the many initiatives of the city government to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among its employees.
