Inilunsad ng Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center ngayong araw, ika-29 ng Hunyo ang Robotics Rehab program nito para sa mga pasyente na sumasailalim sa physical therapy.

Ayon kay Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso, bahagi ito ng tuloy-tuloy na pagpapaunlad ng lokal na pamahalaan sa medical equipment at facilities ng district hospitals upang makapaghahatid ang mga ito ng mahusay na serbisyong pangkalusugan sa mga Manilenyo.

Sa tulong ng Robocare Solutions, Inc., nag-rent ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng dalawang set ng tatlong unit ng Hybrid Assistive Limb o HAL na gumagana sa pamamagitan ng advanced robotic rehabilitation technology.

Ito'y magagamit nang libre at makatutulong sa pagpapagaling ng mga pasyenteng mayroong spinal cord injury, parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, at progressive intractable neuromuscular diseases.
