DPS teams spearhead clean-up operations at Manila Bay and Baseco Beach
The Department of Public Services (DPS) Team Mandaragat and DPS Baseco Beach Warriors are leading the charge in cleaning up the surroundings of Manila Bay, Roxas Boulevard, and Baseco Beach Port Area in Manila. Their daily clean-up operations aim to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and peacefulness of the coastal areas in the city.
The teams recognize the importance of preserving the cleanliness of our waterways and beaches, as it not only promotes environmental sustainability but also helps ensure the health and safety of local communities.
By keeping the shores and waters clean, they can mitigate the risks of pollution-related illnesses and maintain the natural beauty of these areas.
Their clean-up efforts involve the removal of trash and debris from the beach and coastal areas, as well as the proper disposal of hazardous waste materials. The teams also conduct regular inspections of the area to identify and address potential sources of pollution.
