Manila cleans up Divisoria
In their tireless pursuit of a clean and sustainable environment, the Department of Public Services (DPS) has implemented a comprehensive 24/7 cleaning operation in Divisoria.
This bustling area, renowned for its vibrant markets and busy streets, is now the focus of round-the-clock attention from dedicated DPS personnel. The DPS has organized specific activities to facilitate the cleaning operations across various districts in Manila.
In District 2, sweeping operations are being conducted along JAS Ave. from Recto to P.Algue, Mayhaligue, Bambang, and Juan Luna from Solis to Bulacan, Pampanga, Hermosa, City Limit. Additionally, in District 3, sweeping operations are taking place at Jones Bridge, Q. Paredes St., Escolta St., Yuchengco St., San Vicente St., Dasmariñas St., Juan Luna St., Plaza Cervantes, 1919 Grand Cafe, Intramuros Birch Tree Plaza, Muelle del Banco, Super Perry Station, and Plaza Yuchengco.
Moreover, the DPS is conducting cleaning operations in District 3 specifically along Juan Luna Ylaya Divisoria. In District 1, a hauling operation is underway along Dagupan Street in Barangay 49 Zone 4. Finally, District 2 is engaged in hauling assorted debris at Masangkay Street corner norte Barangay 267 Zone 24.
These operations demonstrate the DPS's commitment to ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in Divisoria and throughout Manila. By working diligently and coordinating efforts across various districts, the DPS aims to create a cleaner and more sustainable environment for the city's residents and visitors.
