Ospital ng Maynila to have special ward for teachers
The new Ospital ng Maynila will have a special ward for teachers, according to Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” tribute Domagoso.
He said a dedicated ward will be provided to the teachers once the new Ospital ng Maynila is constructed next year.
Moreno made the statement as he lauded the role teachers have in nation-building, as well as in shaping and creating the future leaders of the land.
“We all owe what we have become today to our teachers. They’re our country’s silent heroes,” Domagoso said.
The mayor said that apart from a special ward, a special lane will also be accorded to public school teachers of Manila in the new hospital should they need medical attention, which will be free of charge.
“This is our small way of honoring our teachers for all their love, patience and understanding just to instill discipline and knowledge to students,” he added.
Domagoso said the construction of a new and modern OM will definitely begin next year.
“The new OM will be at par with the country’s leading private hospitals in terms of services and facilities,” he stressed.
