Two Manila hospitals announce limited services
The Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center (GABMC) and the Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital announced that they will be limiting some of their services due to decongestion and cleaning activities, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
In a memorandum, GABMC said that it will temporarily limit the admission of its patients in its emergency room starting March 8.
GABMC said it will only accommodate extreme cases to decongest the number of patients admitted in the hospital.
“Please bear with us and kindly accommodate patients that may be transferred to your hospital,” it wrote.
Meanwhile, Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital said that it will implement a temporary closure of the labor room, delivery room complex, operating room – OB-Gyne/Surgery from March 10 to 15, due to the scheduled cleaning and disinfection in the hospital, and for the facilitation of major repair of the complex.
“All cases for admission will be transferred/ referred to other hospitals as necessary,” it said.
