Manila mayor leads educational tour program
Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, together with Vice Mayor Yul Servo and the Manila Department of Social Welfare Director Ms. Re Fugoso, recently conducted an Educational Tour Program for young Manilenyos. The program aims to broaden the knowledge and information of the children by bringing them to significant places in the city.
Dubbed as the #ManilaEducationalTour2023, the program gathered children from different schools in the city. The tour included visits to historical landmarks, museums, and other relevant places to enhance the children's understanding of Manila's rich culture and heritage.
Mayor Lacuna-Pangan emphasized the importance of exposing children to various educational experiences to help them learn beyond the four walls of their classrooms. The program is a testament to the city government's commitment to promoting education and supporting the development of young Manilenyos.
Vice Mayor Yul Servo also shared his excitement in seeing the children's curiosity and enthusiasm during the tour. He hopes that the program will inspire the children to continue their passion for learning and exploration.
Director Re Fugoso, who oversees the Manila Department of Social Welfare, expressed her gratitude to the city officials for the opportunity to work together in bringing the program to life. She hopes that the program will have a positive impact on the children's growth and development.
The Educational Tour Program is just one of the many initiatives of the Manila City government aimed at providing opportunities for the city's youth. The program is expected to continue in the coming years to benefit more young Manilenyos.
