PLMun marks 32nd founding anniversary
Muntinlupa City - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) kicked off its week-long celebration of its 32nd Founding Anniversary on Monday, May 29, under the theme "PLMun, A Caring University: Changing Lives, Changing Communities." The event began with a lively parade held within the university campus, featuring the participation of esteemed individuals such as the Management Committee officials, College Deans, Program Heads and Directors, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, and enthusiastic students, all coming together to show their support. Following the parade, a solemn mass led by Fr. Daniel Ybañez and a flag-raising ceremony were held.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Chairman of the PLMun Board of Regents, graced the occasion and expressed his admiration for the significant contributions of the university to the academic journey of Muntinlupa students. Mayor Biazon commended PLMun's commitment to providing high-quality educational programs that have consistently produced outstanding results in board exams, particularly in the fields of criminology and education. He praised PLMun University President Dr. Ramundo P. Arcega, CESE, and the rest of the university officials for their dedication and leadership.
Coun. Jedidiah Presnedi, a City Councilor, Chairman of the Education Committee, and a member of the PLMun Board of Regents, also conveyed his delight over the accomplishments of the university. He expressed his optimism for PLMun's continued success in the future, emphasizing the importance of education and the positive impact it has on communities.
