Rubiano calls for unity in Pasay

Pasay City - In a heartfelt message during the flag-raising ceremony on May 29, led by the Regional Trial Court, the Mother of Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, emphasized the collective goal of uplifting the quality of life for every resident in Pasay City. She commended the Pasayeños for their hard work, resourcefulness, and dedication, which she believes are the qualities that will propel the city to greater heights.

Mayor Emi expressed her deep appreciation for the honest service rendered by the judges and lawyers of the Regional Trial Court, resulting in a productive and equitable administration of justice. She considered them as examples and inspirations who can serve as models for public servants deserving of recognition.

The esteemed mayor was honored with the "Bronze Usa Award" by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines for her invaluable service to the scouting movement. Furthermore, she recognized the achievements of Pasay City's athletes who brought home medals and honor to the country in the recent South East Asian Games held in Cambodia. The outstanding athletes include Jeda Soriano, Jeda Mae Soriano, John John M. Bobier, Joshua Gleen Bullo, Ma. Jeanalane R. Lopez, Leah Jhane Lopez, Marco E. Tumampad, and Andrea Camille Divina.

Mayor Emi also reminded everyone about the upcoming celebration of the National Flag Day, which symbolizes the nation's honor and is a tribute to those who faithfully serve and compete in various fields for the country's betterment.
