Pasig traffic enforcers found to have expired licenses

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said some traffic enforcers in his city were given violation tickets themselves after they were caught driving without or with expired licenses.

Sotto said that the chief of traffic operations in Pasig conducted a surprise inspection of enforcers that led to their apprehension, after which their vehicles were impounded.

Sotto stressed that uniformed personnel, like the traffic enforcers, should have high standards in following rules and regulations as they themselves implement them.

"'Ika nga, alisin mo muna ang troso sa mata mo bago mo sitahin ang puwing sa mata ng iyong kapwa," he said.
