Manila Mayor Leads Joyous Buling-Buling 2024 in Pandacan

The lively streets of Pandacan burst into a riot of colors and images of Sto. Niño as the community celebrated the annual Buling-Buling on Saturday, January 13th. Among the distinguished attendees were Manila City Mayor Maria Sheilah Lacuna-Pangan, Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto, councilors from the sixth district, Congressman Bienvenido Abante Jr., and the esteemed Hermano't Hermana Mayor.

The event also witnessed the presence of members from the Sto. Niño de Pandacan, led by Rev. Fr. Andy Ortega Lim, RCC, the Iglesia Filipinas Independiente representatives under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Ricardo Amores Aliwalas, IFI, and Rt. Rev. Salvador Riego de Dios Ballesteros, IFI. The cultural and artistic richness of the celebration was further enhanced by the active participation of the Samahang Sining at Kalinangan ng Pandacan, under the leadership of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Joel M. Par.

Buling-Buling 2024 showcased the unity and cultural diversity of the Pandacan community, bringing together religious, civic, and cultural leaders to commemorate the revered Sto. Niño. The event underscored the city's commitment to preserving and celebrating its rich cultural heritage.
