In anticipation of the highly-awaited Parish Cultural Night 2024, the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila has unveiled the latest guidelines for Sto. Niño devotee groups. This cultural extravaganza aims to celebrate the vibrant heritage of Tondo, offering a platform for devotees to showcase their talents and immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the community.

The competition is open to all Sto. Niño devotee groups, inviting them to participate in this grand event that encapsulates the essence of Tondo's cultural identity. The focal point of the performances will be a dynamic festival dance, set to the energetic rhythms of Lakbayaw music or creatively infused remixes.

Each participating group is encouraged to bring their unique flair to the stage, with performances expected to be a visual and auditory feast that embodies the spirit and devotion of Santo Niño. The criteria emphasize creativity, synchronization, and cultural authenticity, fostering an atmosphere of healthy competition and camaraderie.

To join this cultural celebration, devotee groups are required to have a composition of 20 to 30 members. The registration period extends until Monday, January 15, 2024, providing ample time for interested groups to prepare and participate. Registration can be completed at the dedicated booth located in the Garden of the Saints or through direct messaging on the Socio-Cultural Events Ministry's Facebook page.

Notably, there is no registration fee required, allowing devotee groups to actively engage and contribute to the celebration without financial constraints. This inclusivity reflects the commitment of the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila to encourage widespread participation and ensure that the Parish Cultural Night truly represents the essence of Tondo's cultural vibrancy.

In the spirit of community and cultural pride, all are encouraged to come together, share, and celebrate the cultural heritage of Tondo. Let the streets resound with the vibrant beats and fervent devotion—Hail Santo Niño!
